Scotiabank Offering $US Cash Incentives For Digital Banking
October 15, 2021 - As Scotiabank continues to promote the benefits of its online and mobile banking channels,it hopes to further increase this transition by offering cash incentives totalling US$20,000 to customers who register and use Scotia Online or the new Scotiabank Caribbean Mobile App. Twenty customers will receive cash prizes of US$1000 each.
“This is another opportunity for our customers to gain access to the significant benefits of our digital banking platforms,” shared Tonya Russell, Senior Marketing Manager.
“Using our digital channels, we have been able to offer a wide range of banking services to our customers despite the many disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Signing up is easy and the cash incentive for our lucky customers is sure to be a sweet reward as we seek to close the year on a high note,” she further highlighted.
Russell explained that the promotion is designed to entice even more persons to experience the benefits and convenience of online banking. As such, first-time users will receive two entries if they sign up for Scotia Online and complete a transaction, while customers who have been inactive for longer than 30 days and complete a transaction on the platform during the promotional period will receive one entry. Eligible transactions include transfers between Scotiabank accounts, third-party bank transfers, bill and credit card payments and mobile top-up. The promotion will end on October 31, 2021 and all transactions in local and USD currency also qualify.
Customers are reminded that they can sign up for online banking by downloading the Scotiabank Caribbean Mobile App from the Google Play Store or the iOS Apple Store. Further details on the terms and conditions of the promotion are available online at jm.scotiabank.com. The final draw will take place on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
The Scotia Online platform and the Scotiabank Caribbean App are free, safe and convenient options for everyday banking transactions and give access to alerts and other security features. Currently, Scotiabank customers are able to complete several banking transactions including cash transfers to owned and third-party accounts, bill, loan and credit card payments, the purchase of mobile credit and foreign exchange as well as wire transfers to other local banks.
