Scotiabank commences Jamaica 60 celebrations at Jamaica Rum Festival

Kingston, Jamaica– June 24, 2022 - Scotiabank has joined forces with the organizers of the 2022 Jamaica Rum Festival to kickstart celebrations of Jamaica’s 60th year of independence. As a sponsor for the annual signature event, the Bank will be using the highly anticipated cultural experience to salute Jamaica’s rich cultural heritage while connecting with its customers.

Patrons at the Jamaica Rum Festival 2022 will be hosted for the first time since the launch of the event in Jamaica’s tourism capital - Montego Bay, St. James. 

The 2022 staging is slated to take place on Saturday, June 25 at the Aqueduct in Rose Hall and will be presented by Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum, in partnership with the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) and the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF).
