New polymer notes

Important notice:

Please do NOT deposit new bank
notes (polymer) in ATM machines

Dear Customers,

Scotiabank will begin issuing the new Jamaican polymer bank notes as of June 15, 2023. 

The new notes will be available in branches and for withdrawal at our ATMs. Please note however that our ATMs cannot accept deposits of the new bank notes (polymer) at this time. 

We are still working to modify all our ATMs to accept the new notes. We will advise the public once this has been completed. 

 

We can only accept deposits of new bank
notes (polymer) at our full-service branches.
