When the skies clear, ScotiaProtect is still here

We recognize that many families are navigating the challenges brought on by Hurricane Melissa.

To support our clients in the hardest-hit parishes, ScotiaProtect is extending the grace period for insurance premium payments from 30 to 90 days. This means you now have up to three months to bring your policy up to date before cancellation takes effect, giving you more time to recover financially while maintaining your coverage.

What this means for you:

  • Your policy remains active longer, even if you're unable to pay right away
  • You can focus on rebuilding and caring for loved ones without worrying about losing coverage

Please note: Insurance premiums are not being waived. Our automated systems will continue to attempt payment collection where possible. However, if no payment is collected, your policy will remain active for the 90-day grace period.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
