"Live intentionally. Don’t forget the main character – You”
“Take time out for yourself; put your affairs in order”
“Never thought of the strategic value of insurance in building wealth”
“Scotia has resources available that are untapped by my company”
“I felt empowered for new things”
“The methods highlighted to attain and maintain wealth resonated with me”
These were among the key points which stood out to women who were in the audience on September 17, 2025 at the first SWI forum to be held in the parish of St. Ann.
We reflected on “Wealth, Legacy & Leadership: Mastering Yourself to Build a Secure Future,” led by Kerry-Ann Chong, Director Sales & Channel Delivery; Oral Heaven, Head of Wealth, Scotia Private Banking Services and Assistant Commissioner Julian Davis-Buckle, the highest-ranking woman in the Jamaica Fire Brigade.
As the Scotiabank Women Initiative helps women succeed on their terms through bespoke specialised education, he speakers focused on a practical and mental framework for intentionally shaping the future.
We are pleased to share with you what our speakers had to say.
