How do interested businesses participate? Do they have to be Scotiabank customers?

The SWI programme is open to ALL businesses that are women-led or woman-owned.
Women-owned business - minimum shareholding of 20% and active in the business OR Women-led business - active director (as per business registration) or executive/decision maker

We have committed $3billion over three (3) years with additional benefits such as special loan rate of 8%*, 50% discount on commitment fees, full waiver on application fees and a 3-month fee waiver for online banking and merchant services
